After Christopher "Bong" Go filed his certificate of candidacy as President of the Country to avoid clash with President Rodrigo Duterte's daughter Sarah Duterte-Carpio who is running as Vice-President of the country, it is now a question of whose tandem will be supported by the people, will it be the Go-Sara or Marcos - Sara Tandem. President Rodrigo Duterte wants Go-Sara Tandem while Sara Duterte is promoting the Marcos Sara Tandem. For the North, it will be the Marcos - Sara Tandem for sure but in the South, it will be divided to Go-Sara and Marcos-Sara Tandem. This is a disadvantage for the two Presidential aspirants but Sara will have no worry. With these updates, it will be the opposition who will benefit from it. The administration is divided so the opposition now will have their chance. But BBM has a disqualification case filed by his political rivals and should this succeed, it will be Bong Go who will benefit from it, granting that BBM's supporter will switch their support to Bong Go. It was a surprise for many when finally, Davao City mayor Sarah Duterte-Carpio filed her certificate of candidacy for the Vice-President position. Others were no longer surprised as they expect already the Presidential daughter to run for a national position after withdrawing her certficate of candidacy for her reelection as mayor of Davao City. While other Presidential aspirants were surprised by the move of the presidential daughter, they said they are not moving a step backward of the race and welcome the Vice-Presidential aspirant to the race. After the release of the Commission on Audit (COA) report tegrding the Audit’s report on deficiencies in the DOH’s PHP67.32 billion allocation for the Covid-19 pandemic response has “unnecessarily” alarmed the public. The Senate immediately conducted hearing regaeding it as a lot of people are calling for the resignation of the DOH secretary. President Rodrigo Duterte however defended the DOH secretary and assured that Secretary Duque has still his trust and confidence. The President clarifies the issue that the COA report about deficiencies found on DOH reports of its 2020 spending does not necessarily mean the money was lost or corrupted, or that there is corruption in the Health dept.
