After Mets fans waited over 3 hours for a rain delay at Citi Field on Tuesday night, only to have the game postponed, and then be asked to return to the ballpark the very next day for a split doubleheader (which is only a 7 inning game), Sal blasts Rob Manfred and MLB for continuing to implement these types of games in 2021.

Sal opens his Wednesday show by recapping a "big scary performance" from the Yankees, as they rocked the Mariners in Seattle on Tuesday night. Sal isn't buying into a hopeful performance from the Bombers, as they continue to frantically struggle for consistency heading into the All-Star break.

 

However, Sal is impressed with Jameson Taillon, who has surprisingly gotten better since the sticky substance crackdown. Sal also expresses his love for watching his teams when they are on the west coast, which is when you feel like you are truly bonding with the team.

It reminded Sal of how big of a Ranger fan he is, which reminded him how salty he is that they're not in the playoffs.
