Old Spice has a lot of data on men and how they don't get out enough so they staged a mantervention to get guys back on their feet (and smelling their best). Meanwhile, Starbucks enlisted Bill Nye to explain how nitro cold brew works (although Jesse Pinkman would have been just fine as well) and McDonalds and Burger King got into a bit of a turf war. During this week's pod we dissect all of these spots - what worked, what didn't, and help you understand why the brands created these ads in the first place.

This week, Trent and Zack sat down with Allison McMordie of UM London to discuss her career in media which has now spanned across Austin, New York City, and London at agencies such as Razorfish and Huge. During our conversation we discuss the differences between advertising in each of those markets, as well as how to best integrate media departments into campaigns, her favorite types of media, how the environment influences the media she buys, and her advice for those just starting out.
