Sometimes when you think you've got it all under-control, He tests you. After you calm down, you reassure yourself by being reminded that Allah only tests those He loves. If you're ever in that verge of a breakdown because of piling emotional distress and frustration, may this episode bring you ease and pull you out of that intoxicating thought. 

Sometimes no matter what you do, you can't seem to please others, even those you love. It gets to you to the point where you constantly blame yourself for being incompetent or incapable of understanding them too. This episode is a reminder for us that we are enough, as long as we remember who we're actually trying to please; as long as we remember who's thoughts matter more.

Letting go can be difficult, sometimes because of the emotional connection we have towards a certain thing and sometimes its because of all the effort we have to put in to make it happen. But, truthfully, good things if not better can only come once we make way for it by removing the boulders that are blocking our paths.

The beauty behind a fall lies behind the appreciation of one. 

Probably my most unplanned, raw episode ever to express my bare feelings upon approaching 2021. 

Shoutout to the adults who managed to stay afloat, stay sane, stay clean, stay organized, stay grounded and stay steadfast in completing tasks, responsibilities and achieving goals as their own individuals and as servants of Allah. I pray to walk in your footsteps too!

Assalamu'alaikum, hi! I hope everyone's been recharging as much as I was this month. Before the year ends, I really want to kick off the new season to kind of have a flow of goodness upon approaching the new year!

To start off this season, I have for you, something I prepared almost a month ago. You know how we always reflect on lessons we learnt before entering a new year? This one is me reflecting on lessons that I gained from seven amazing gems I met, towards the end of 2020. 

They say to make an action into a habit, it takes three days. And then to make a habit a lifestyle, it takes at least three months. How does one stay consistent in trying to make an action a habit and later, a part of their lifestyle? Sharing with you some tips I gained the past few years in trying to incorporate my own habits into my lifestyle. This episode is brought to you by my dearest LH who requested I talk about this topic. This episode was recorded on a day where I felt like there were still some moments of the day where I wish I was able to remind myself of my truest intentions and be able to energize myself to feel less exhausted. Hope it can serve as a reminder for me and you too, inshaaAllah. 

Sometimes as we're trying to meet deadlines and going over our heads to deliver the extraordinaries, we forget to rest and heal. Whereas our bodies, have the rights over us to demand for that rest and moment of healing. 

May this be a beneficial reminder for us, and specially me as I face the usual end of year busy schedule, inshaaAllah!

Post-graduation fever has gotten me to pondering about my entire student life since 1999 which led me to recording this special episode. 

This reflection made me realize how my life has never really been one straight line but instead it is what Allah actually had in-store for me, my most inner desire that had to take me to differing turns down the road.
