June is always a special month for me it's the month in which I celebrate my birthday, graduation ceremonies, Juneteenth, new job opportunities, etc. So what better time to re-launch the podcast. On this episode, Salamata Speaks about black girls and beauty standards. More particularly how we are discouraged from investing in our beauty to focus on our education instead. The tension that this created for me, my journey to understanding my own purpose as a speaker and young academic.
