Prayer is a tremendous privilege and responsibility!

God delights to show mercy to those who humbly come to him.

Priscilla and Aquila had an extraordinary impact for the sake of the Gospel, through their ordinary lives. From Priscilla and Aquila, we can learn to minister together, with truth and grace, using the knowledge we have of the Gospel, where we live, work, study, and play.

Jesus refreshes our souls and relentlessly pursues us. He rendered service and relinquished his life for us. As followers of Jesus, we are called to be refreshing to others, relentlessly committed to others, render service to others, and relinquish ourselves for the sake of the Gospel.

God hears and uses our prayers, however big or small, to impact His kingdom.

As we look to the example of Hezekiah, we see that throughout his reign he remained focused on God, giving Him the glory. He also sought to know and follow His Word that had been given. As Hezekiah lived and served for a specific time in history, so it is with you and me today. Others came before us and others will follow, but now is our time.

Abigail demonstrates tremendous wisdom in diffusing a potentially volatile situation. Sometimes being a peacemaker means making the first move, even when someone else is at fault. Abigail's humble approach is a foreshadowing of God's plan for redemption through Jesus.

God often uses people of all ages to accomplish His purposes. What "little" we give as an act of worship, God can use to do great things. What "little" can you offer God?

Whatever your skills, know they are graces. As we serve one another with the skills that God has given us, Christ does indeed dwell in our midst. What extraordinary things might an extraordinary God work to do in you and through you in the midst of your ordinary life?

God invites us to sow seed, to invest in His kingdom. Generosity is one of the most tangible and beautiful expressions of God's love to the world. Generosity is not limited to money. The Bible teaches us to be generous with our time, knowledge, talents, words, and possessions.
