Welcome to the first episode of the 2022 Halloween Series. Today we'll be discussing everything you've ever wanted to know about the Salem Witch Trials. But only the TRUTH! Like, did you know that contrary to what pop culture references would have you believe, no one in the Salem Witch Trials was ever burned at the stake or thrown off a cliff? Nope. We'll discuss the most believed origin story (all documents of the trial were destroyed by the state of Massachusetts- so we are just kind of forced to guess) and some interesting ideas for what caused the only legitimate witch trials on American soil. Buckle up! You're in for one hell of a broom ride!
