Google made a few mistakes with its Stadia cloud gaming service. Maybe more than a few. Okay, it made a lot of promises it didn’t keep and said many things that look pretty laughable in hindsight and pulled the rug out from under its indie developers. We did our best to warn you!

And yet, I don’t think Stadia will be remembered poorly now it’s gone — because in the end, Google did right by its customers. Pay attention, rival companies: this is how you shut down service right.

I can’t remember a company ever trying so hard to erase its mistakes: Stadia users got full hardware and software refunds, save game transfers, even a final celebratory test game they could play on the eve of the shutdown. They were warned over three months in advance so they could finish their games, and Google gave Stadia Pro subscribers those last three months for free. It didn’t even ask them to return the hardware in exchange for those refunds — and Google added a much-requested Bluetooth mode to the controller at the last minute, so people will hopefully reuse ‘em instead of chucking ‘em into landfills.

6 waves of DLC, each containing 8 courses, have been announced for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and are planned to release throughout this year and the next. The final wave of DLC is set to release by the end of 2023.

This means that the earliest likely date we will receive any information about Mario Kart 9 is in 2024. Mario Kart 8 will be ten years old by that point, and it is very hard to imagine Nintendo continuing to push content for a game this old. Additionally, we may have information about the next generation of Nintendo consoles at that time, at which point it is very likely a new Mario Kart will be announced to help push the sales of Nintendo's next big venture.

Huge announcement Netflix has picked up a sixth season of Cobra Kai — which will also be it's last.

The streamer made the announcement Friday with a video that teases what it calls “the biggest … baddest” season of the series. A premiere date hasn’t been set; the video (watch it below) only says “coming soon.”

Creators Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg call the decision to end the series “bittersweet” but one that lets them bring Cobra Kai to a close the way they want.

Cars that don’t make it past 100K miles.  One of the worst cars made 1980 Chevrolet citation

Chevy Citation was part of General Motors X-body cars, including the Buick Skylark and Pontiac Phoenix. The problems were that the transmission would give up at any time. The fuel lines would leak. Oh, and the brakes were faulty––this is the biggest issue of all. This car would lock its rear wheels when you hit the brakes, causing the car to skid into the path of whatever (or whomever) you were trying to avoid causing accidents and fatalities.

The Citation was crafted so poorly that the US Government filed a lawsuit against General Motors in response to numerous customer complaints. With the Chevrolet Citation, the chances of you making it to 100K miles were slim. The chances of you coming out unscathed? Just as unlikely.
