Hoy les traigo un mini-video con una pequeña recopilación de algunos entrenamientos que he tenido en estas últimas semanas. Son tomas recientes en las que me quería enfocar en dos puntos principales: el nuevo método de resistencia que estoy implementando y, sobre todo, mi avance con el SA T (un movimiento avanzado a una sola extremidad).

Este SAT es un movimiento que perdí debido a diferentes lesiones que obtuve entre febrero y marzo de este año. Recuperarlo ha sido más complicado de lo esperado, y la verdad es que aún no lo tengo dominado al 100%. Sin embargo, ver este tipo de avances en video me alegra el día, ya que definitivamente estoy mucho más cerca de volver a alcanzar mi objetivo.

Sé que el progreso nunca es lineal y que siempre hay días en los que el rendimiento es mejor o peor, pero esto no debe desmotivarnos. Al contrario, cuando luchamos a pesar de estos altibajos, el logro final es mucho más gratificante.

Actualmente, siento que, aparte de la resistencia (algo que evidentemente debo mejorar con el nuevo método), mi postura también puede estar más pulcra. Hay días en los que incluso me cuesta sacar un touch medianamente abierto, y los touch normales me demandan demasiado.

Pero esto es algo totalmente normal en el camino de la calistenia. Seguiré entrenando para mejorar cada uno de estos aspectos. ¡Muchísimas gracias por ver y por estar! Nos vemos en la siguiente publicación. Un saludo y hasta luego.

Today I bring you a mini-video with a small compilation of some of the training sessions I've had over the last few weeks. These are recent shots in which I wanted to focus on two main points: the new resistance method I'm implementing and, above all, my progress with the SA T (an advanced single-limb movement).

This SAT is a movement that I lost due to various injuries I sustained between February and March of this year. Getting it back has been more complicated than expected, and the truth is that I still haven't mastered it 100%. However, seeing this kind of progress on video makes my day, as I am definitely much closer to reaching my goal again.

I know that progress is never linear and that there are always days when performance is better or worse, but this should not discourage us. On the contrary, when we fight through these ups and downs, the final achievement is much more rewarding.

Currently, I feel that, apart from endurance (something I obviously need to improve with the new method), my posture could also be neater. There are days when I even struggle to do a moderately open touch, and normal touches are too demanding for me.

El día de hoy comenzó con un pequeño tropiezo: me levanté más tarde de lo planeado. Pero eso no fue excusa para detenerme, porque si algo he aprendido es que el tiempo que tenemos puede adaptarse a nuestra disciplina si realmente queremos avanzar. Después de completar algunas tareas cotidianas, como estudios y actividades en casa, me preparé para mi entrenamiento del día.

El enfoque de hoy fue en front y efecto, dos elementos que siempre me exigen técnica y constancia. Sin embargo, no quise limitarme solo a eso, así que también trabajé un poco de plancha. Cabe destacar que no le di una intensidad alta, ya que prefiero mantenerme ligero en los elementos que no corresponden al día, pero sin dejar de practicarlos. Este balance me ayuda a evitar la sobrecarga muscular y, al mismo tiempo, a mantenerme en forma y enfocado en todos los aspectos de mi entrenamiento.

A lo largo del día, me detuve a reflexionar sobre la importancia de la constancia. El progreso no siempre se mide en los grandes logros, sino en esos pequeños pasos que damos cada día, incluso cuando las cosas no salen como esperábamos. Como suelo recordar: “La disciplina no es castigo, es autocuidado”. Y en cada entrenamiento, en cada tarea completada, reafirmo que avanzar, aunque sea poco a poco, siempre será mejor que quedarse quieto.

Hello #Hive and #SWC people, today I bring you a new video after a while, in which I was working on some workouts that you will be able to see reflected in the images. I've been thinking about adding more dynamic introductions to my videos to improve its quality and make it more engaging. Creating content has always been something I enjoy, and I feel that every little change is an opportunity to grow and explore new ways to connect with you.

Today started with a little stumble: I woke up later than planned. But that was no excuse to stop me, because if there's one thing I've learned, it's that the time we have can be tailored to our discipline if we really want to move forward. After completing some daily tasks, such as studies and activities at home, I got ready for my workout for the day.

Today's focus was on front and spin, two elements that always demand technique and consistency from me. However, I didn't want to limit myself to just that, so I also did some plank work. It's worth noting that I didn't give it a high intensity, as I prefer to keep it light on the elements that don't correspond to the day, but without stopping practicing them. This balance helps me to avoid muscle overload and, at the same time, to stay fit and focused in all aspects of my training.

Throughout the day, I stopped to reflect on the importance of consistency. Progress is not always measured in big accomplishments, but in those small steps we take every day, even when things don't go as we had hoped. As I often remember: “Discipline is not punishment, it is self-care”. And in every workout, in every completed task, I reaffirm that moving forward, even if it is little by little, will always be better than standing still.
