What makes us Christian? Is it beliefs? Stands on a social issues? A feeling? Jesus tells his disciples that being a Christian (a follower of Jesus) makes you salt in a bland and bitter world. It makes you light in the darkness. If you don’t add flavor, heat, illumination to the world as you live, well – you’ve lost your way. This sermon explores how we lose our “saltiness” or cover up our light.
