Grief can be crippling. It can take over your day and distract you from the goodness around you. It's a choice to look for it. I find myself in the midst of this effort.

I share my heart on my mom's passing in this episode.

I don't think I've got grief or God figured out in the least, but I do know that if I don't [try to] stay close to Him, I'll miss out on the sweetness He's laid out before me.

This is the first episode of the KINDLING series: Friend of God. I talk about why I'm even talking friendship with God and how that's playing out in my life right now; it all started with a conversation with Mom. I think living a life that is aimed at cultivating a friendship with God is one worth living.

Logan describes his journey seeking God: growing up Christian, identifying as agnostic/atheist (he explains why he considered himself to be both), and now to be in a permanent pursuit of Jesus.
