In this episode, we’re answering three core questions:
Who am I? What season am I in? And how do I prepare for what’s next?
Using the biblical symbolism of salt, we talk about what it really means to be who God has called you to be. Salt preserves, slows decay, enhances flavor, balances bitterness, and brings out sweetness — and Jesus makes it clear that salt without flavor is useless.
God has called you to be a preserver:
to hold peace in chaos,
to slow spiritual decay by sharing the Gospel,
to pull out the God-given gifts in others,
and to love like Jesus instead of matching bitterness.
We also talk about seasons — because you’re either in a fire, coming out of one, or heading into one. Through Mark 9:49–50 and Luke 14:33–35, we explore why the fire is necessary, why lukewarm Christianity won’t sustain your calling, and why full surrender is the only way forward.
This episode is a reminder that becoming who God has called you to be will cost you comfort — but it will never be without purpose.
So the question is:
Are you willing to go through the fire to keep your flavor?
