This Sunday in our journey through Mark's gospel, where Jesus begins to call his first disciples. We see Jesus' heart for invitation and transformation beckon to his disciples, "Come, follow me," and we hear it for us today. Come and see, come and follow, come and be blessed this Sunday!

As we approach our Annual Meeting, we're still aiming to see more pledges for what folks are planning to give at Salt House for the next fiscal year. If you haven't yet made your pledge to give, please take a moment and do that now.

“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent, and believe in the good news.” These are the earliest recorded words of Jesus. But let’s be honest—they aren’t super clear. Yet in them is a promise from God that we really need to hear. Join us on Sunday as we continue exploring the Gospel of Mark and the good news Jesus promises here. 

We are underway with a brand new sermon series on the Gospel of Mark and let me tell you, it is action packed. The word "immediately" is used over 40 times in Mark! There must be something urgent about what the Gospel is telling us. Let's dig in together with Pastor Ryan this Sunday, because, as Mark would say, "Now is the time!"

Easter Sunday at Salt House! Christ is risen. Alleluia! God's love is revealed through Jesus's death and resurrection. This divine love invites us to "die" to our unloving ways; a surrender that paradoxically leads to true life. Come, embrace resurrection and become an agent of renewal and love in a broken world, actively participating in God's ongoing work of restoration.

How we spend our time exposes what's most important to us. That's why quality time is the language of love. In the Christian life, we rely on prayer -- spending quality time with God -- as a vital communication with God. On this Palm Sunday, let's follow Jesus through his entrance to Jerusalem and the waving of palms to his prayer in the garden before going to the cross. 

Guest Preacher Zach Herzog shares how God is a generous god who lavishly gives us gifts! God’s gifts are all around us everyday! But admittedly, we don’t always see them. This Sunday, we'll explore how we can tune into the voice of God and receive the gifts God wants to give us.
