Sunday celebrated "Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe" so it made sense for Christ the King in Idaho Falls to be our Parish of the Week!  Morning Light catches up with Fr. Nelson Cintra to talk about his first assignment since being ordained and assigned this past summer.  What makes the parish unique?  How many families call it home and how many ministries are there at Christ the King?  Tune in and enjoy our lighthearted conversation.

     Sarah Howard from the Boise Rescue Mission joins Morning Light today to share more details about “Cradle of Hope.”  Sarah also tells us several heartwarming stories of the incredible work being done in this great work.

     "Cooking With Scripture" is a weekly segment of Morning Light, hosted by Chef Lou Aaron, owner of Westside Drive-In and a Deacon at Our Lady of the Rosary parish in east Boise.  Today, we discuss the mighty pomegranate!  Where is it in scripture and how was it used back in Biblical times?

     Alanna Burg & Pam Jaszkowiak from the Idaho Lay Dominicans join Morning Light today to discuss “Grace & Justification”  (CCC paragraphs #1987 - #2021)

     “The Catholic Company Man” - Eric Meyer - is in Iceland this week on business so Morning Light pulled out this best of segment.  With the recent success of the Vandals football team, we thought it could be nice to revisit our chat with head coach Jason Eck from May 8th.

     Morning Light announces our Parish of the Week - St. Catherine’s Station in Hagerman (which falls under the care of Immaculate Conception in Buhl). Fr. Shiyo is the priest at Immaculate Conception these days and he was on our Vocations Focus segment back on July 7, 2022.
