Salt & Light Ministry

Jesus demonstrated the most flawless example of how to “Give Up or Give In.” This decision was not to be taken lightly. Our choice to give up or give in holds the weight of whether we are bringing heaven to earth.

Part 5 will delve into the individuals we are surrounded by and the underlying reasons for our current predicament. Nevertheless, the decision remains whether we will forsake our comfort and persist or succumb to the divine message emanating from the heart of God.

Part 4 emphasizes the dynamic impact of our choices to yield or resist on those around us. However, the fundamental truth lies in the revelation of our current situation. Jesus addresses our predicament with a commandment. The pertinent question arises: do we respond to this commandment with an excuse or sarcasm? By aligning ourselves with the teachings of God’s word, revelation becomes instantaneous, and the prevailing ways of the world become clearly erroneous.

At the halfway point, the message within this series resonates with us more profoundly. It unveils what we have permitted to remain concealed. In Part 3, we discover the true circumstances of Peter’s release from imprisonment. His unwavering commitment to upholding God’s word transcended any limitations. Three simple words transformed the trajectory of the freedom that would transform into discipleship for people from all nations. By diligently adhering to the word of God to its entirety, we can overcome our adversaries.

The concept of giving up or giving in is vividly illustrated in the narrative of the Prophet Balaam. The pivotal decision he faced was whether to remain or depart, ultimately determining the position of his allegiance. While his mind was steadfast in his devotion to God, his heart was torn between two paths. This divided state led him to a profound lesson that ultimately resulted in his death. This scenario serves as a symbolic representation of the Western Church. Just as Balaam was once a designated prophet appointed by God, his divided heart ultimately led him to be a self-appointed prophet. Many individuals who identify as Christians have experienced a similar trajectory, becoming self-appointed Christians due to a heart divided that results in a lifestyle that is conformed to the ways of the world. Consequently, their spiritual journey culminates in a state of spiritual death. However, we retain the option to relinquish our desires and surrender to the heart of God.

The decision that Esther was confronted with is a universal one that each of us will face at some point: to surrender or to yield. To give up our own desires and to give in to what God has ordained for this particular season. Just as her decision served as a catalyst for the Jewish people in the 127 provinces of Persia, our decision will have a profound impact on many individuals we will never encounter. What decision will you make when the situation arises?

Within this series, God has unveiled a wealth of profound truths, and we have no justification for failing to comprehend His divine purpose for humanity. Neglecting His truth and the call to righteousness constitutes a rejection of His compassionate heart, as it entails the realization of the Kingdom of God on earth in the same manner as it exists in heaven.

With only two parts remaining, God has authorized the inclusion of the reference to David, a man who know to be a man after God's heart. However, we must first assemble the remaining pieces of the puzzle to gain a comprehensive understanding of God’s will, emotions, and character.

As this series nears its conclusion, the message of God’s heart is becoming increasingly discernible. The revelation of God’s heart holds the potential to transform lives. Its impact transcends individual limitations, reaching those whom God has designated to assist you in further serving the Kingdom of God.

The pleasure we derive from our Heavenly Father is not contingent upon our level of success. His delight in us stems from our obedience to His commands. Success will naturally follow in the presence of obedience, while disobedience will impede our progress in fulfilling the divine purpose that has been entrusted to us. This principle is evident in the lives of Moses and Elijah.
