What does “walk with God” mean? He’s not just a voice in the sky - He’s knowable, relatable, and involved in our lives. And because of that, we can share our lives with Him, walking out each day, as friends. He is Among Us… walking with us

God walks with the righteous because He desires to be with them… as a friend desires a friend

Too often we forget… we’re saved by Grace alone… and that, even in our sin, God still pursued a relationship with us… and that should be an encouragement to us when we feel far from Him because of sin that we may struggling with now. The fact is, He is Among Us… even When We Sin

So today we’re looking at this very practically… keeping in mind that when we struggle with sin in our own lives:

1. Paradise Doesn’t Prevent Sin

2. God’s Presence is Not Restricted By Sin

3. Sin Doesn’t Produce Paradise

And as Christians, we’re ALREADY part of His Kingdom… That same future Kingdom that is already present here and now…

At SRCC, a Disciple is a follower of Jesus Christ, displaying the character of Christ, fully equipped with the Word of God and empowered by the Holy Spirit to make other disciples that support the maturity of their local church and serve their community while considering opportunities to support planting other churches.

At Salt River Community Church we have a mission and vision that we hope will help change this community… but rather than just having a program, hosting events, and hoping for a building with people in it… we want to be able to answer WHY Making disciples is important to us… WHY planting churches matters… and be able to answer WHY Tempe AZ /PHX East Valley should care that Salt River CC is here?
