Here are the best players we played against in our playing days; we really would like to hear all views!
Salthill Devon's 'spiritual home' as it were, is firmly rooted in Salthill. That relationship is copper fastened today with 'The Village logo included on all the club's playing gear; while the Nipper Academy also sport the 'Blackrock Tower' on their training shirts.

Pete & Ollie sat down to offer their opinions on the best Galway United side they would have selected. An obviously impossible task, guaranteed to forget some worthy players and also agonise over 'toss up decisions'. We try to justify our selections (to ourselves!).
We do know however that there will be no shortage of opinions on who were the best Galway Utd players to date! We would love to hear you opinions; Who have been left out? who has been 'hard done by' - your opinion is a s valid as ours - enjoy teh selection agony!
Salthill Devon is a club that has produced over 60 international players. Pete & Ollie offer their opinions of who would make 'their squads'. In Episode 4 Ollie & Pete muse over the early days of coaching in Salthill Park which was our place! Everything stemmed from there.
We hear from Jim Craddock about playing in Salthill Park in 1950's and subsequently from Mick 'Striker' Sweeney on the 70's & 80's.

Most recently Meábh has played with Galway in WNL and coaches Salthill Devon's youngsters at Drom.
