You can't change the world if you're being consumed by the darkness surrounding you, to scared to speak up for fear of being judged or challenged. You can't be a light in the dark, if you're only being consumed by the very darkness you're trying to brighten. You can't change the world if you're only willing to say you will do the hard things, but not actually do it when God asks you to practice it and you're faced with them. 

Ask yourself this; are you a follower of Christ or are you just a fan? Are you on the team, or do you just have the jersey? Noone likes lukewarm coffee and neither does the Lord. Rev3:15 

In other words...Does the world know who you are? Where you stand with your faith? What your values + morals are? Or are they calling you in to join them on their iced coffee?! 

God has called you, and not just in the ways that you're comfortable with.

Understanding who you are, who you were called to be and who God created you to be is a transformative thing! How much of what you think about yourself comes from the world?  Is your identity rooted in your job, accomplishments, what others say about you, failures, or fear? Why do we think we can root our security into something so insecure? People will let you down and the world is fickle, but when we choose Christ, we can root our identities in the only person that is ever constant.  Learn to escape the cycle of constant comparison, judgement, self doubt and status with His word and you don't have to wonder who you are ever again.
