On Tuesday, severe storms moved through the Houston, Texas area. This dangerous storm system produced tornadoes and caused the most destruction in the Pasadena, Deer Park, and Bay Town areas.
The Salvation Army’s Emergency Disaster Services team has mobilized a full-size canteen from their Pasadena corps and has been serving food, snacks, water, and offering emotional and spiritual care to the community.
At the time of this episode, the full extent of the damage is unknown, but it’s estimated that 130,000 homes were without power.
