Peter’s greatest spiritual fall was not unlike our own. Whether it was based on fear, selective remembrance of God’s Word designed to condemn him, or an unwillingness to receive the mercy he needed, all are simply delaying what God wants to do in our lives in response to our sin as well as in the lives of others who need the same restoration we do.
