SALVATION

Listen Later

Greetings! Word for today. Reading 1Corithians 1:21
"By suspicious scrutiny the sense-ruled world surveys the works of God in creation and still do not recognise or acknowledge Him; In sharp contrast to this , the foolishness of the message we proclaim brings God's work of redeeming His image in us into faith focus" Praise God.
What we preach cancels every basis of boasting in personal contribution, which seems fully to the system of this world. People want something complicated, people want to come to God with some examination or may be with some way of scrutiny, but the things of God are received by revelation. We only receive God's things...because salvation originates from God.
In the Book of Matthew chapter 19:14 Jesus when He was in a certain place and a number of people were surrounding Him, the disciples, you know forbidden the children to come to Jesus. Matthew records this, but Jesus said "Let the children come to me, do not forbid them for SUCH is the kingdom of heaven." 'Such' is the kingdom of heaven. People can only receive revelation from God, the things of God when we have an attitude of a child. Mark picks it better. Mark chapter 10:14 records. "And Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them " let the little children come to me, and do not forbid them, For SUCH is the kingdom of God" Saints! receiving the things of God, receiving salvation requires revelation, we can not think about it its of God.
Romans chapter 10:6-13 quickly let me just read
"But the righteousness if faith speaks in this way; Do not say in your heart, who will ascend into heaven? { that is to bring Christ down from above} or who will descend into the abssy? { that is, to bring Christ up from the dead} . But what does it say? The word in near you, in your month and in your heart" { that is, the word of faith which we preach}; that if you confess with your month the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God Has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, for with the heart the one believes unto salvation; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture says " whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame " For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all us rich to all who call upon Him. For whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved"
Amen! And glory to God.
We receive the things of God like a child, through revelation. It belongs to God, we receive it from Him, in a simple way like a little child.
God bless you
Amen.
