Have you heard the gospel? The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The gospel is God's power. The power of the gospel is the only thing that God gave us to come into salvation. When shared correctly it brings all sinners into becoming saints. In today's world we preach anything and everything except the gospel like politics, prosperity, blessing, love, and wealth. We have stopped preaching the gospel and it is why very few can really live the new creation life on a daily basis. Maybe the gospel we heard wasn't in its entirety so we ourselves cannot share it in its fullness. If you have heard the gospel, how have you shared it? Our shame or embarrassment for the truth of God's Word is what can blockade salvation for another. Have you heard the good news that has allowed God's power to save you?
