In this episode I speak with Samantha Robertson as she shares her darkest moments and how she was able to flee her domestic violence situation. Unfortunately for Sam she didn't recognise her own value and self-worth which almost cost her her life. As a child she grew up with a narcissistic father, which ultimately set her up to find "bad boys" as she describes it as her boyfriend/s.
You will be taken through her journey, she goes in depth on how she planned her escape, being abused in public, how it's shaped her but more importantly the work she does today to help other women in similar situations. This woman is beyond amazing and strong - despite these life challenges she's broken through the cycle of domestic violence, she is a a wife, a mother of 3 and her coaching business specialises in inner child trauma.
It is my intention to bring you real life stories from those who have experienced adversity in their lives and share how they have overcome these tough times in the hope it empowers and inspires one person to take ownership and control of their lives and realise that "we" have the ability to heal ourselves and achieve anything we want in life.
