Same Peaks Y'all

We’re back at the RR Diner for another adventure in our fave northwestern murder town. Leland freaks out, Andy masturbates at work, Harry tears a dress, and Hank does some questionable martial arts. There are so many mysteries, chief among them: why do Tess and Eric take so long to make new episodes of this podcast? (I think it’s so they have more time to work on their “Twin Peaks” character impressions!)

We’re recording live from the RR Diner, because it’s fun to pretend, and psychic stuff is happening! Albert is a lovable jerk, Audrey’s getting hooked on heroin, an Asian man is trailing Coop, Jacoby’s going under hypnosis, Laura has SO MANY DIARIES, and the one-armed man provides excellent customer service! PLUS we meet two new characters, Harold Smith and Dick Tremayne, and Eric and Tess do a dramatic script reading in the “Quotable Quotations” segment. The coffee is hot, and we love you!

It’s episode 2 of season 2 of the great “Twin Peaks!” Eric’s drinking a beer, Elton John is friends with Lady Gaga, “vegetable” might be an offensive term, and that’s just the tangents! Mysteries abound: Is that Asian man menacing? Is Mrs. Tremond creepy? Is “Just You and I” the worst song ever? Also: Coop is #shook, Lucy’s two timing, Jerry’s in love with a smoked cheese pig, and Harry figures out how to operate a chair. Psychic psychic psychic!

It’s the “Twin Peaks” season 2 premiere! We’re so excited Tess almost forgot her highlighter! Leland sings! Coop’s a Jedi! Donna receives mail at a diner! Maddy destroys her glasses! Audrey’s trapped in a brothel! And Albert’s a lovable jerk! Also we analyze Bobby’s relationship with his father, and Eric’s wife Amanda offers up some medical expertise! Exclamation marks!

We’re wrapping up season one of Twin Peaks and there are a lot of laughs, a few surprise tears, at least one yawn, and even a sneeze. Eric recaps the entire season, we review his long standing theories, cliffhangers from the finale, and predictions for the next season. We also drink a lot of tea, and do some grade A impressions, so strap in and enjoy this ride down memory lane. As Coop says, we’ll “see you on the other side!”

It’s the season one finale of “Twin Peaks” and we’ve got opinions as usual! We love Jacoby’s tropical themed office, Coop’s James Bond impression, and Andy being a big hero! We hate Hank talking about “oriental philosophy,” the creepy brothel crone, and James being framed! So many cliffhangers: Will Ben Horne bang his daughter? Will Coop ever get to drink that warm milk? Where did Eric get a big plate of chicken nuggets? Holy baloney, what an episode!

It’s Twin Peaks season 1 episode 7 and that highlighter is BRIGHT! A book house boy salute to you as we talk about our fave characters in our fave northwestern murder town! We’re relieved Coop didn’t sleep with Audrey, and we’d wish Lucy would be nicer to Andy. We bid farewell to Waldo the bird (we hardly knew ye!) and shake our heads at the Scooby gang of Donna, James, and Maddy. There are mysteries, as usual, like: How much is $300 of ’90’s money worth today? Is it really possible to tie a cherry stem in a knot with your tongue? And do Eric and Tess know anything about motorcycles? (We don’t! Look out for the spoiler dove!) We hope you like this episode because for us, business and pleasure are the same thing. Gazebo!

Tess and Eric are back to re-record their thoughts on episode 6 of season 1 of “Twin Peaks” after their initial recording vanished into the darkness of the woods! Ben and Jerry throw a gala, Audrey fights the patriarchy, Bobby delivers a terrible monologue, and Harry, Hawk, Coop, and Doc go hiking! There are still so many mysteries: How does the Log Lady get groceries? Was Maddy not programmed to eat or drink? Is Harry a genius or an idiot?
