The desire of the devil is to shift your loyalty away from God.

Spiritual disciplines are spiritual warfare.

The source of Jesus’ strength wasn’t public recognition but private devotion.

Temptation is the vulnerability of your purpose, your joy, and your eternity.

When Jesus was fasting was the worst time to tempt him.

Temptation thrives when we’re ignorant of it.

You’re not in temptation where you’re dependent, only where you’re self-sufficient.

Your power is not physical strength but spiritual dependence.

When we’re close to God we learn what we still have an appetite for that we shouldn’t have a tolerance for.
