On this week's episode the S.A.M. Podcast reflects on events that have occurred throughout 2020, such as COVID-19, the rise of the #BLM movement, and the Yemen hunger crisis. The girls discuss their heartache and anger towards hearing yet another police brutality case, how they were able to contribute to the movement with the resources they had, as well as talk about their own privileges in comparison to others. Here at the S.A.M. Podcast, we believe that not only do people deserve to be equally treated, but resources must be equitably distributed in order to improve accessibility issues that many minority and low-income communities have. We stand with all of those who have been protesting against systemic racism, and hope that we can shed some light and offer support to those who have been suffering.
