Shailaputri means the daughter of the mountains. She is immensely powerful, she rides a bull called Nandi and she carries a trident and a lotus. She’s known for her many many glories. She is also known as the Goddess of the Muladhara (Root) chakra. Upon awakening the root chakra, one begins their journey towards spiritual awakening and discovering their purpose in life.
