Moses is a stunning example of faith. Moses showed faith in what he did. Moses showed faith in what he believed. Moses also teaches us that faith is about what we love. Moses' life is a reminder that one way we demonstrate faith is through what we value.

Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph all lived by faith, and in faith, pursued what God promised them. Today we see what we can learn from their faith and how we can learn to look forward to what God promises us and to pursue it with certainty.

As we continue learning about faith from Hebrews 11 we examine three examples from the OT that show that faith believes in who God is and lives in such a way that demonstrates his worth.

The writer of Hebrews warns about the danger of sinning deliberately and offers an antidote to persistent sin through persevering faith.

Because of Jesus' perfect, completed work believers are told how everything in their life changes. Our outlook, our behavior, even our worship is totally different all because of what Jesus has done. Today listen to see what you are encouraged to do because of what Jesus has done.

During the time of the Old Covenant the priest was always standing. Jesus is different. Jesus sat down. This simple declaration, that Jesus sat down is one of the most important and helpful truths for any person to ever grasp. Today we learn why it is so reassuring to know that Jesus is now seated.

Sacrifices aren't enough and never were. The sacrifices of the Old Covenant were always intended to point to something greater. Even David understood that sacrifices weren't enough. God deserved and desired more.

The writer of Hebrews says that God's Heavenly sanctuary needed to be cleansed. How can he say Heaven need to be cleansed? Because of Christ's sacrifice we don't have to fear judgment and can easily await Christ's return.

Not only does Jesus promise us eternal redemption, he promises an eternal inheritance. Today we look at the significance of blood in the Old Covenant and why there is no forgiveness without the shedding of blood.
