Do you ever feel like a failure when it comes to witnessing? We are commanded to go, but Christ is willing to walk with us as we work on our witness.
It is true there is a resurrection in Christ, but those who are not living today, have no hope in living forever. It’s not just about being resurrected one day, but being resurrected today. Perhaps, why the world rejects the resurrection, is because many self-professing Christians are not actually alive in Christ. Believers are living today and forever; they are dying today and never. Are you alive in Christ today? Are you living in the resurrected life?
Scripture tells us to live as if we were going to give an account. Jesus promised He would return and repeatedly warned His disciples to be prepared for His coming. He said it would happen suddenly and without warning. Believers in the Early Church lived in a state of expectancy. They lived so radically as witness to the world, because they believed He was coming. We want to be a Church that walks with God and is no more
Why do we doubt healing and deliverance? We might be skeptical because we’ve seen so many fakes and frauds, we may have had bad experiences, or our own disappointments. Sometimes, we would rather hold to all our doubts and disclaimers than simply believe the Word of God no matter what it costs us. From HEADACHES and HEARTACHES God is a HEALER. He wants to Heal you and heal thru you
Sometimes we feel bad, we get down, or we come under temptation, and we forget what God has done for us. We forget how powerfully He has pulled us out of sin, so we fall back into it. We forget how we felt when we first received new life, and now it seems like we no longer live in it. Water baptism, like the Lord’s Supper, is as a sign of a sealing in the Holy Spirit, that we share before others. It’s also a REMINDER, so we will not fall (1 Cor 10:12). It’s a REMINDER that we can RECKON back to, knowing we have been RELEASED from sin’s power and RECEIVED the Holy Spirit.
Is communion, the Lord's Supper, more than just crackers and juice? Listen to this deeper teaching on communion, the Lord's Supper, and how this reminder helps us to remain in Him and how its sign points to our sealing in the Holy Spirit.
What does knowing God as Father, Son, and Spirit have to do with living whole and healthy? Why did God reveal Himself in this way?
How does salvation really work? What does it mean to be saved by grace through faith? How do we avoid trusting in self-works? Listen to this eye-opening message with Pastor Heath, as he teaches on the balance of salvation by grace, faith, the Holy Spirit, and love.
