You asked for it and we listened.  We received a lot of feedback that our listeners wanted a separate feed of just our thoughts on current events, politics, music, and movies, so we delivered.  We took our discussions on movies, the state of the city of Orlando, politics, and more from our latest episode and created a separate episode.  We hope that you enjoy.

Welcome to our first After Hours podcast.  During the recording of our main show, we got a little carried away with topics that weren't sports related, so we decided to bring them over to their own bonus episode.  We talk about the current state of The Villages and politics in America.  

In this week's episode, we were very NBA-centric.  We discuss the NBA Playoffs, specifically what happened with the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers.  We discussed Ben Simmons and what options Philadelphia has for him.  We even try to answer the question of which NBA players from before 2000 would have benefited the most playing today's league.  

Why is that most 5th graders in Florida can't list all 50 states?  Because it's not enforced in school.  The reason why it's not enforced is because Social Studies aren't on the Florida Statewide Assessment (FSA) and thus does not impact the budget of the school.  Pure capitalism has seeped into the schools and only subjects which bring money into the school are thought and re-enforced.  This is why programs like wood shop, home economics, auto shop, etc... are the first to be cut from the school curriculum.  

In this episode, we discuss the NBA Playoffs and revisit the series that we thought was over last week (Milwaukee v. Brooklyn).  We discuss the status of James Harden and our thoughts on his return.  We also go over NFL Training Camp and some of the reports coming out of those camps.  

In this episode, we discuss the current NBA Playoffs, including the egg that the Milwaukee Buck laid against the Brooklyn Nets and whether or not they have any chance in the series.  We also discuss the upcoming NBA offseason with the Free Agents that would be available.  All of us owe James Harden an apology as we made an assumption during this episode about him that turned out to not be true.
