Sandy Ritai is an Australian Outrigger. She’s paddled on the International circuit in Tahiti from 2017-2018. Her sporting success presented itself after a life changing experience involving alcohol and substance abuse. Sandy was faced with a frightening experience that led her wakeup call to occur in the Brisbane Royal Hospital strapped to the bed.
During her mid 30s she returned to the familiarity and comfort of sport where she excelled into the sport of Outrigging and onto the International stage.
