Camille Buscomb is an elite athlete who competes for New Zealand as a long-distance runner. As a decorated track and field athlete she has worked her way from being a successful middle-distance runner to now being a specialised 5000m and 10000m long distance runner. Camille made her first time Olympic appearance in Tokyo with her eyes set for Paris in 2024.
When we spoke with Camille when she was in her third trimester awaiting the arrival of her now baby girl.
Camille is such a down to earth woman who speaks truth into the value of genuine hard work and dedication. She openly shares her own journey in learning to establish her true passion and love for running over and over again and how her strengths as a woman allowed her to do this every time things got tough.
Belinda Clarke would be widely considered one of the greatest female players for Australia and a true pioneer to the Women's game. She captained the Australian Women's cricket team for an amazing eleven years and whilst Belinda never earnt a cent playing cricket for her country, she shares some incredible moments and wholesome take aways that help you understand why Women like her are so integral to growing the space for women in sport.
She speaks into her own strengths as a woman today and her learnings throughout her sporting journey and life.
Belinda has an incredible way of articulating her experiences in Cricket and it was such a privellige being able to catch up for a chat.
This is our fortnightly podcast with LIFT High Performance and leading sports & Exercise Psychologist, Rachel Jones. This weeks we chat about our last podcast with Australian XVs and Sevens player - Mollie Gray.
We unpack purpose over passion for athletes at an elite level or in high performance sporting environments. We also look at managing our commitments and busy schedules under pressure all while balancing life, training, social engagements and your overall wellbeing.
Mollie is such a down to earth Woman once you get to know her. Her strength and drive stemmed from a place of mistreatment and misogny. She has transformed and turn things around to now be living a life of genuine peace and happiness and having this catch up with Rach encourages you to be able to do the same.

A member of the Australian Army, Mollie returned from Afghanastan experiencing bullying and asult from a male superior. She threw herself into anything and everything to compress her trauma and found herself playing both XVs and Sevens for Australia.
It's been a long road to recovery both physically and mentally for Mollie Gray and her free spirited chat with Sub Her In is inspiring on so many levels. Professionally and personally she has an incredible story to share and I was so grateful to be able to do that with her.
This is our fortnightly podcast with LIFT High Performance and leading Sport and Exercise Psychologist, Rachel Jones. This week we discuss our last podcast with Suzy Balogh - Australian Olympic Gold medallist in Trap Shooting and all-round great human.
Suzy shared the amazing insight and engagements she now gets to share with young people on mindset and finding their passion.
We also touch on a more sensitive topic of conversation that is, sexual harassment. No amount of bullying or harassment is okay in any environment and we get Rach's take on how to build layers of support and resources in working through these kinds of situations.

Suzy Balogh is an incredible and confident Woman whose chat inspires so much confidence to continue building exactly what you love and want to be doing in life.
She is her own Woman in business and provides consultancy for the Australian Olympic Committee and the AIS. She speaks in-school and on the road to young people in various programs such as the Unleashed program and Gold Medal Ready to instil goal setting, planning and finding your true passions.
Suzy has so much to give by sharing her journey in Shooting as an elite level and Olympic athlete, but also as a coach and most importantly as a Woman.
One of the best acknowledgements to who Suzy truly is in this podcast is her own statement in finding her confidence now that she's older, and now knowing her worth. It also sheds light on who she is by what she chooses to do with that. She gives back to her communities, she shares valuable insight into her experiences, and she acknowledges her hopes of equality for Women in sport.

This week's podcast with LIFT High Performance touches on our chat with Shelley Lingman. The very first female coach and National selector for the Australian Womens Rugby team.
Shelley shared her journey through the male dominated sport of Rugby Union as a female. It gave us great insight into the growth of the sport but also exposes her challenges faced as a woman.
Tune in to hear strategies and conversation around how you can explore empowerment and promote positive change as an individual and also holding space as a minority in your field.

This is Shelley Lingman. Mother of three and Australia's first female coach and selector for the Australian Women's Rugby Union team.
Shelley started coaching up in far North Queensland to a newly formed Women's team. She instilled discipline and professionalism as a level of expectation to all of her players.
Her time as a coach evolved and Shelley became the first Woman in Australia to complete her Level 3 Coaching.
Hear Shelley's journey in Rugby Union, from coaching in small town Darwin, to excusing herself from the boardroom at the ARU in Sydney so she could breastfeed her baby.
One of the strongest points raised in this podcast is that any Woman can achieve what they set out to do in sport if they have the right support and right attitude in check.
This week we wrap up our chat from New Zealand Weightlifter, Megan Signal and talk through the topics of body image as an athlete and the road to reovery after injury.

This is the incredibly strong in stature and in nature wahine toa, Megan Signal. Our first and favourite [I can say that on the first one] chat of season 2 for Sub Her In.
Megan openly shares her slightly indiffrent journey into the elite levels of sport through a pure want for better health at a later age. From humble crossfit beginnings to the prestigous honour of earning the Fern on the World stage as an Olympic Weightlifter.
Megan is so humble and grounded in how she articulates the journey she is on. It is an extremely refreshing conversation to listen in on for the importance of trust. Trust for the people you surround yourself with and trust in the values and path you are currently on.
The most relevant and anchoring take away for me was the importance of conversation. The weight it can lift by engaging in one, and the burden it can leave beause we chose not to have one.
Thank you Megan for selflessly giving up your time. Good luck for the upcoming Commonwealth Games this year! We'll be watching x
