The South African Police Service, SAPS' headquarters in Pretoria has been shut down temporarily. This after the SAPS Telkom Towers building failed to comply with health and safety regulations. General Fannie Masemola has since instructed all personnel to vacate the premises. National Police spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe says measures are in place to ensure business continuity following prohibition notice issued at its administrative building.
