The South African Police Services will deploy additional resources to address gang related violence and crime in some communities in Gauteng. The increased policing is expcted to affect places like Westbury, Eldorado Park, Newclare, Claremont, Riverlea and Noordegesig - Which have seen a surge in gang violence. ActionSA has since laid criminal charges against the Fast Gun Gang after it published threats against Anti-Drugs Activist, Dereleen James who operates in such communities.
