Sara Sakanaka is a multidisciplinary creative, focusing on design, fashion, and consultancy projects for domestic and international clients. She holds a broad understanding of apparel design, product development, brand strategy, domestic and international markets, and is experienced in successfully launching new fashion and lifestyle brands including ready-to-wear, bridal, couture, and outerwear.

Born to Japanese immigrants, Sara grew up in Los Angeles and now resides in NYC. A graduate of FIT, Sara has held many impressive design roles, including several years as a designer in Japan and China. Last year she started Considered Objects LLC, a concept studio that creates one-of-a-kind and limited edition objects through an artistic and sentimental vision.
