Sarah Everard’s life was cut short two weeks ago when she was abducted and murdered while walking home alone from a friends house at the age of 33. It’s 2021. We should all care about this as women and as humans. It’s not about “but nothing happened” anymore - it’s about why this is so still completely unacceptable. Helping break down the “not all men” hashtag - yes that’s a thing, and practical things that can be done to help change this narrative at the societal level. Because it may not be all men but it’s all women and it’s enough.

This week I took a look back at the five new Hallmark “New Year, New Movies” debuts - four that I loved. One that I’ll never watch again. Called out some Hallmark app reviewers, you know - some people I just never wanna watch a Hallmark movie with! Also recalled the 3.5 books I read this month - yes there’s some more Bridgerton talk. Then I look ahead to February things including the Book Club pick and new things coming to the shop this Friday at sockbunstudios.com
