The incident occurred at Shree Jewellers in Raikar Mala near Kalubai Chowk in Dhayari on Sinhagad Road at around 2.30 pm during a power outage. Three robbers, brandishing a toy gun, attacked a jewellery store owner and decamped with gold worth lakhs on Tuesday, police said.

Investigation into the case of alleged gangr**e of a 19-year-old girl by 23 men over seven days took a turn after families of the accused, armed with audio and video evidence, staged demonstration and demanded justice, asserting that the girl's families had leveled false allegations.
