What if you’re not burned out?
What if you’re heartbroken?
Sometimes rest doesn’t fix the kind of tired that comes from disappointment, grief, unanswered questions, or mourning the life you thought you would have.
In this episode of Sass With Faith, we’re talking about the heartbreak that isn’t always connected to a romantic breakup.
You can grieve:
A friendship that changed.
A family relationship that never became what you hoped.
A dream that didn’t happen.
A prayer that wasn’t answered the way you expected.
A future you had already pictured.
Or even a version of yourself that you no longer recognize.
Sometimes we call it burnout because admitting, “My heart is broken,” feels too vulnerable. But what we refuse to grieve, we often continue to carry.
You are allowed to be disappointed and still trust God.
You are allowed to grieve what didn’t happen.
You are allowed to miss what you had to release.
And you are allowed to heal slowly.
