This sermon explores the doctrine of election and predestination as the foundation for the believer's assurance and comfort. It argues that God's absolute sovereignty ensures that all things, including suffering and tribulation, work together for the good of those who are called according to His purpose. The text emphasizes that salvation is entirely God's work, from the effectual call to final glorification, securing the believer against the accusations of Satan and the threats of the world. By highlighting Christ's intercession and the unbreakable nature of God's love, the message encourages believers to rest in their security, respond with reciprocal love, and find hope in the certainty that nothing can separate them from Christ.
