  • Satan's Voice or a Soldier's Stand? Which Will You Choose?
Satan's Voice or a Soldier's Stand? Which Will You Choose? Are you sitting through the Christian life, or are you serving and standing like a soldier? In Ephesians 6:5-20, the apostle Paul moves from faithful service in our daily responsibilities to the reality of spiritual warfare. Believers are called to serve "as to the Lord," be strong in His might, put on the whole armour of God, pray always, and stand against the wiles of the devil. Pastor Ed Decker challenges us to examine which sound is shaping our lives: Satan's noise, fear, and deception, or the steady sound of a soldier who knows the truth, carries the shield of faith, uses the sword of the Spirit, and refuses to retreat. When the evil day comes, will you be sitting or soldiering? Christianity is not a spectator sport. Ephesians 6:5-20 calls us to serve from the heart, put on the whole armour of God, pray always, and stand. Are you sitting or soldiering?

  • Ramifications of PedoCommunion
PM sermons are preceded by a Confessional, Catechism, Historic Creed lesson, or a lesson from the NT (Usually 5 minutes or so) WCF 17:1 They whom God hath accepted in his Beloved, effectually called and sanctified by his Spirit, can neither totally nor finally fall away from the state of grace; but shall certainly persevere therein to the end, and be eternally saved. 2. This perseverance of the saints depends, not upon their own free will, but upon the immutability of the decree of election, flowing from the free and unchangeable love of God the Father; upon the efficacy of the merit and intercession of Jesus Christ; the abiding of the Spirit and of the seed of God within them; and the nature of the covenant of grace: from all which ariseth also the certainty and infallibility thereof. 3. Nevertheless they may, through the temptations of Satan and of the world, the prevalency of corruption remaining in them, and the neglect of the means of their preservation, fall into grievous sins; and for a time continue therein: whereby they incur God's displeasure, and grieve his Holy Spirit; come to be deprived of some measure of their graces and comforts;e have their hearts hardened, and their consciences wounded; hurt and scandalize others, and bring temporal judgments upon themselves. 18: 2. This certainty is not a bare conjectural and probable persuasion, grounded upon a fallible hope; but an infallible assurance of faith, founded upon the divine truth of the promises of salvation, the inward evidence of those graces unto which these promises are made, the testimony of the Spirit of adoption witnessing with our spirits that we are the children of God: which Spirit is the...

  • What Happens at Death
There are only two places people go when they pass from this life: heaven or hell. Believers go into eternal bliss with their heavenly father where they remain forever. Unbelievers go to eternal suffering in the flames of an eternal hell where they remain with their leader: Satan.

  • The Kingdom and the King | Matthew 12:1-50
Matthew 12 reveals two very different responses to King Jesus: hardened hearts that reject Him and humble hearts that receive Him. As Jesus demonstrates His authority through His teaching, healing, and fulfillment of prophecy, opposition from the Pharisees grows. Rather than recognizing the work of God before them, they harden their hearts in unbelief—even attributing Jesus' power to Satan. Throughout this chapter, Jesus exposes the danger of outward religion without true heart transformation and calls His hearers to repentance and faith. Ultimately, the question is one each of us must answer: Will we recognize our need for Christ and receive His mercy, or reject the King who alone can save?
