  • What If It Were Today?
In this parable we find three distinct items: The SEED (which is the word of God), the SOWER (which is the children of God), and the SOIL (which is the hearts of man). Only one type of soil brought forth life and produced fruit. The problem was not with the seed, nor was it with the sower, but the problem was with the soil - it was not properly prepared to receive the seed. Is the soil of your heart prepared to receive the seed God sows your way from His word?

  • The Little Horn
What is represented by the little horn in Daniel's vision? This sermon explores the prophecy of the fourth beast and the little horn in Daniel chapter seven, identifying these figures as manifestations of real demonic evil and the Antichrist. The preacher emphasizes that while the specific historical identity of this power remains debated, the text confirms that evil is a tangible force opposing God's people. By connecting this passage to New Testament teachings, the message highlights the ultimate defeat of all satanic powers through Jesus Christ's sacrificial death and resurrection. The central theme urges believers to recognize the reality of spiritual warfare without fear, finding confidence in Christ's established kingdom. Ultimately, the sermon calls for faithful living and active resistance against evil, anchored in the assurance of eternal victory.

  • The Five Senses of Hell
The sermon warns against the modern tendency to ignore the reality of hell, asserting that Jesus taught about it more than any other prophet. Using the story of the rich man and Lazarus from Luke 16, the speaker describes the five senses in eternal torment to illustrate the severity of separation from God. The message emphasizes that hell was created for Satan, not humanity, but those who reject Christ's atonement send themselves there. It urges listeners to accept salvation today rather than face irreversible regret in eternity. The tone is urgent and convicting, aiming to drive lost individuals to repentance before it is too late.

  • The First Commandment
In this sermon from Exodus 20, Scott Aniol examines the First Commandment: "You shall have no other gods before me." This command does not merely forbid worshiping pagan deities or bowing before physical idols. It requires every part of our lives—our minds, wills, affections, love, trust, hope, loyalty, and worship—to belong entirely to the one true and living God. The sermon explains how Christians must avoid two forms of legalism when applying God's law. We must not create our own boundaries and use them to measure our righteousness, nor should we narrow God's commands to their most limited meaning so that we can justify ourselves. Instead, we must ask what each command says, what it requires, what it forbids, and how it reaches the desires of the heart. Anything that receives our ultimate love, dependence, service, or allegiance becomes a god to us. Money, comfort, family, reputation, possessions, and personal independence can all take God's rightful place in our hearts. Every violation of the other commandments is ultimately rooted in a violation of the First Commandment. Although Israel repeatedly turned to idols, Jesus Christ perfectly obeyed the First Commandment. He refused Satan's offer of the kingdoms of the world, loved and obeyed His Father completely, and bore the curse earned by our idolatry on the cross. Because Christ has redeemed His people from slavery, believers can now joyfully pursue obedience—not to earn salvation, but because God has already turned His gracious face toward them in Christ.

  • I Repent in Dust & Ashes
We have now come to the place in this book where Job is repenting of all of his hard thoughts of God in relation to this great and awful trial that he has gone through. I think that it will be important in light of our partaking of the Lord's Supper in a few minutes that we would consider three thoughts that will lead us to better confess our own sins, and to repent of them in a way in which hopefully, we will be less likely to sin against God in that same way in the future. 1st of all – Remember, that no purpose of God can be thwarted or withheld from Him. (verses 1 & 2) 2nd – Remember, that there are with God things too wonderful for us to understand. (verse 3) And 3rd – Remember that in your repentance that there should be a righteous abhorrence of yourself which should lead you to more carefully consider, the sacrifice of Christ. (verses 4-6)

  • Using Prayer in Spiritual Warfare
The sermon explores the reality of spiritual warfare, distinguishing between the internal conflict of spirit versus flesh and the external battle against satanic powers. Drawing from Job, Daniel, and Revelation, it illustrates how believers are engaged in a cosmic struggle against principalities and rulers of darkness. The central focus is on Ephesians 6, detailing the full armor of God as the necessary defense for standing firm against these spiritual attacks. Each piece of armor, including truth, righteousness, faith, and the Word of God, serves a specific role in protecting the believer and enabling offensive spiritual action. Ultimately, the message encourages persistent prayer and reliance on Christ's power to overcome the devil's schemes.

Absalom's rebellion is put down and we immediately turn to the rebellion of Sheba, one of three different "Sheba's" referenced in Scripture. • The Wrath of the Lamb
The sermon argues that the church is not currently in nor will be present during the seven-year tribulation, as believers are rescued from God's wrath. It identifies the opening of the seals in Revelation 6 as the beginning of this divine judgment, emphasizing that these events originate directly from Jesus rather than Satan or human agency. The speaker highlights the severity of the first half of the tribulation, describing it as a time of global violence and suffering that has not yet occurred. By contrasting general persecution with specific divine wrath, the message asserts that the church's absence is biblically consistent with God's protection of His bride. Ultimately, the presentation serves as an urgent call to salvation for non-believers, offering the hope of the rapture as an escape from the coming judgment.
