Neither of which are good. It’s therefore wise to explore additional streams of income.

Making the decision to brand your business in line with your personal brand or keep it completely separate is very much dependent on how your business is set up and what you are personally trying to achieve. For me Personal brand is key as it gives flexibility to change as you evolve both personally and in business.

The change in technology over the last few years is probably one of the best things to happen in how you can take control of your marketing. You can now get your message and offers in front of specific interested consumers for a fraction of the cost of traditional ads + they are way more effective!

A quote that sticks with me from Dr John Demartini in his best selling book ‘The Values Factor’ goes something along the lines of - “Most are living quiet lives of desperation, repressed by their job.” This was true for me until I expanded my knowledge and reach using online and social media methods to grow both personally and in business. There’s no longer an excuse!
