SATURATE!

Samotek returns to SATURATE! with a swung-out club assassin in the form of "Stage Clear". Subtle, heavy, sleek and magnetic - Stage Clear sparsely distributes itself for maximum bassweight. Sluggish and subdued basslines mirror dubstep aesthetic all while bouncing on subtle Trap percussion - making "Stage Clear" the star of the show, without trying.

Make space, make way. Samotek came to slay.

Blade cuts through the airwaves with sonic precision. Through cheeky vocal cuts, blood chilling atmospheres and 2-Step/Breakbeat orientated rhythm. The bass perforates through your senses, sharp enough to slice through your sweat on the dance floor.

Forged by the blacksmith Vendeza, Blade is a Breakbeat / Dubstep old school raver lullaby and cuts through the noise, splitting the real from the mediocre.

As the winner of the RAVETHEORY x SATURATE! production contest, JUKE YOU blew us away with SUBTERFUGE, taking the winning spot!

SUBTERFUGE is a high-intensity rave banger. Engulfed in massive trance chords, exploding with speaker melting 808's and steered by sleek, bouncing drums - SUBTERFUGE brings back the classic SATURATE! sound coupled with new age club angst forming a Nu-Rave anthem.

NEW MANA & BIOS MIX! A DIFFERENT SUNRISE SET!

10 YEARS SINCE THE LAST PROPER TAPE!

How did this happen? It’s been almost 10 years since our life-changing WINTER MIX. And now… finally… here’s a new one. We’ve been playing regularly but just never got around to releasing the recordings - until now. This is a 2.5 hour journey, recorded live at FUSION!

For the past 3 years, we’ve been invited by the amazing people at Tube Box. Huge shoutout to all (!) the crew, and especially Thomas!

These are the same people who threw our last bigger set, opening for @GJonesbass and @Eprom. Sadly, that recording was lost. But this new set picks up where that left off - reversed, reworked, and with plenty of new additions. So if you missed that one or our FUSION set… just play this one backwards to get the vibe (joking, obviously).

Expect signature blends, hard cuts, and smooth transitions. Get ready for a wild @DJride!

Recently, longer sets have become a thing for us. While our ideal set length used to be 90 minutes, we hit a personal record last year with a 12+ hour set at a friend’s wedding. This one’s long too - and different: we’re taking you on a journey that moves down in tempo, instead of building up. Starting fast and slowing down while keeping energy is surprisingly tricky.

We started at 3 AM with juke-y uptempo as Drumbule lit up Tube Box. We caught the crowd outside and took them along for the ride. Mid-set, there was even a tea ceremony -you might catch UK lokals clinking their teapots in the background.

At sunrise, we dropped (for us) a good dose of 140 BPM driving dubstep—right as the rave goblins wandered past and filled the dancefloor. We closed the set with a proper SATURATE SLUG and SLIME fest. And later? People went missing in the morning fog…

Massive thanks to https://soundcloud.com/mcgmcgmcg for supplying a handful 140 bangers!

And big love to the Fusion Gang: https://soundcloud.com/joney, https://soundcloud.com/capuz, https://soundcloud.com/pearls_hoodromantik, https://soundcloud.com/poldyy, https://soundcloud.com/dondelawurst, https://soundcloud.com/prime-time-gabi and https://soundcloud.com/muadeepmusic, .

This set features unreleased and released music, classics, and fresh releases from us and friends.

Forged with advanced tools yet with barbaric tactics. Paleolithic takes sticks and stones and morphs them into UK underground 2-step rhythms with the dark undertones of the urban underground.

Crafted by the blacksmiths Kunas, K A G E, Katraven and Zain Wolf, Paleolithic promises to embellish your productions with sounds of the LDN Underground. Deeper than Deep Medi Era Dubstep, this is rooted in sounds of the most primitive persuasion.

Fuel the dirt, the grit, the eerie atmosphere in your music with Paleolithic, a Burial / Future Garage-inspired sample pack.

Buried in the dirt, the conscience has room to germinate. Continuing to take root in the underground, Subp Yao gets them hands engulfed in the mud. Finally harvesting fruit of labour planted beyond grassroots level, "Soil" demonstrates Subp Yao's cultivation of sound expanding further than the sands of time.

"Soil" is deeply entrenched in the underground, rattling sub frequencies to disturb the streets. We're honoured to have SATURATE! submerged in the "Soil" for this release.

"Nothing unearths precious metals like an earthquake, after all, and the snares on ‘Rattle’ take on the frantic scribbling of a seismic tracker as the bass and sub bass grind and roll against each other." - Layla Marino
