This a recording of a Dhamma talk and sangha discussion the Alagaddupama Sutta, the Water Snake Sutta. This was recorded at Cross River Meditation Center in Frenchtown, New Jersey on March 25, 2017.  The Alagaddupama Sutta teaches how attempting to adapt the clear and direct teachings of the Buddha to fit conditioned confused views can only bring more confusion, deluded thinking and suffering.
