Tour manager Ian Jorgensen has put together the intimate photographs he took on the tour of the Finns, their crew and the communities they visited in the book Where's My Room: The Neil and Liam Finn Summer 2018 Tour of Aotearoa.

The series, which started as a blog written by Sciortino while she belonged to a squatting commune in London, evolved into what the New York Times called "a chronicle of sexual experimentation." and became a television series in 2017. New Zealand audiences are about to see series 2 of Slutever on VICE (Sky Channel 13) - (Season 1 is available on NEON) - in which Karley explores the concept of jealousy in open relationships, becomes part of the world of virtual reality porn, and meets the feminist icons who are rebranding girl power.

British novellist and screenwriter Ian McEwan has been listed by The Times as amongst "The 50 greatest British writers since 1945" and he's received numerous awards and accolades for his work, including being shortlisted for the Man Booker several times. His novel Atonement received the WH Smith Literary Award (2002), National Book Critics' Circle Fiction Award (2003), Los Angeles Times Prize for Fiction (2003), and the Santiago Prize for the European Novel (2004). Atonement was also made into an Oscar-winning film. In 2006, Ian McEwan won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize for his novel Saturday and his novel On Chesil Beach was named Galaxy Book of the Year at the 2008 British Book Awards where McEwan was also named Reader's Digest Author of the Year. Ian McEwan was awarded a CBE in 2000. His latest book Machines Like Me examines the concept of synthetic humans - and what makes us human.

Alex Thomson is the longest-serving on-screen journalist at Britain's C4 News since the channel began. In more than 25 years he's covered over 20 wars; led major investigations and continues to front the programme from around the world. Thomson is only days back from his latest assignment, covering the devastation across Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe as a result of Cyclone Idai, which has killed over 700 people, and made millions homeless.

Actor and playwright Rebecca Vaughan has appeared in film, television and on stage. her celebrated solo shows with colleague Elton Townend-Jones include Austen's Women, Dalloway and Jane Eyre: An Autobiography. She will perform her latest show, Orlando, based on the satirical novel by Virginia Woolf, at this year's Auckland Writers Festival.

Canadian Vicki Saunders is an entreprenuer, mentor and business advisor, and the founder of SheEO, an organisation that raises funding to help grow female-run businesses. The SheEO system sees 500 women (Activators) contribute $1100 each to support early stage female entrepreneurs; those selected are chosen by groups of 500 women 'activators' who select five businesses to receive a five year interest free loan. Vicki has co-founded and run ventures in Europe, Toronto and Silicon Valley and taken a company public on the Toronto Stock Exchange. She is currently in NZ for a SheEO summit and 'Top 5 Venture' weekend.

A team of ESR scientists have recently received New Zealand's most valuable science prize for the development of STRmix - scientific software that is used to interpret DNA material from a crime scene that comes from multiple individuals. Dr John Buckleton, a principal scientist at ESR and one of the world's leading researchers in forensic evidence interpretation, worked with Dr Jo-Anne Bright and Dr Duncan Taylor from Forensic Science South Australia to develop the tool, which was born out of a crisis in 2009 when an Australian laboratory was forced to close after realising it had been incorrectly using software to interpret DNA for case work. The software has now been used to interpret mixed DNA in more than 100,000 cases worldwide.

He's the author of four novels - The Method Actors (Shoemaker & Hoard, 2005), winner of the Prize in Modern Letters in 2006; The Lazy Boys (Counterpoint, 2006); Three Novellas for a Novel (2008; Mansfield Road Press, 2011) and Anti Lebanon (Counterpoint, 2013). His latest work is A Mistake, which tells the story of a young female surgeon at Wellington Regional Hospital, and the reverberations of her workplace error.
