We’ll be doing an in-depth review of Saturday Night on the main show soon, but here is a quick instant take of the film coming right out of the theater. Directed by Jason Reitman and featuring a star-studded cast, Saturday Night chronicles the chaotic 90 minutes leading up to the fateful airing of the first episode of what would eventually become Saturday Night Live, with some of the most iconic actors of the 70s and 80s played by plenty of lesser known actors and comedians in 2024. Fitting, right?
