The scene at Tralee Town Park reminds me of the song “Boston Rose”with the words “Now the Autumn leaves are falling”.
As the crisp air sets in and the weather cools down the transition into Autumn fashion involves shifting towards heavier fabrics as can be seen by people in photo.

Hi Joe,
Please see photo attached for submission to this month’s Autumn theme.
This photo was taken on a walk down Kenmare Pier a few years ago. It was taken by my daughter and shows my Grandson and I having a chat on a bench looking out at Kenmare Bay.

Good morning, Joe & Dominic. Picture No 1. You can see how our chickens enjoy Autumn time. As day light decreases, they enjoy watching TV. Picture No 2. Christmas cakes just out of the oven. Best wishes from Kells. You both deserve a Radio Reward. Agnes O’Sullivan
Hello Joe and Dominick,
I hope you are both keeping well.
I am by no means a photographer however I feel blessed to have seen this image. I regularly walk on Inch beach with my dog Pepper, hail, rain or shine, and saw this glorious rainbow and reflection. I would not have seen it if I did not have to turn around looking for my dog and this was the view before my eyes.
Autumnal Kerry sunshine. Here are the pictures I captured. Pepper was reluctant to pose.
Unfortunately I am still searching for the pot of gold.
‘Keep searching for the pot of gold’ I would title it. A metaphor for living one’s best life I think.
Thank you for your time.

Dear Joe & Dominic,
Here are some pictures I took with my phone on a recent visit to Yorkshire. We had the most amazing weather while we were there so I hope you enjoy the photo’s I took.
The first one was taken in York Minister garden where you can see our reflections with the sun shining on the autumnal coloured leaves.
The second one was taken at York Memorial War remembrance garden. I thought the colours of the trees & leaves blending together were amazing.

Hi Joe and Domnick,
I was stuck in traffic when I took the sheep photo but it caught my eye cos the early morning Autumn sun was burning off the dew on the sheep’s wool and there was literally steam rising out of them. The other two are just… morning photos!!

Hi Joe and Dominic,I attach three photos on your autumnal theme. All were taken in Killarney National Park. Two show the lovely golden leaf colour so much in evidence at this time of year. The third image is a long exposure on Owengarriff River with the fallen autumn leaves resting on the river rocks.
Best regards

Hi Joe & Dominic……
I’ve attached two photos for Saturday.
The first is Annascaul Lake, taken in mid-October. It was early morning, very dull and overcast. I had been for a short walk and returned to my car when the rising sun suddenly lit up the valley just for a few minutes, to show its stunning Autumnal colours and a beautiful rainbow.
The second photo was taken last Saturday on 31st October on Halloween morning. We had just finished our Castlegregory Tidy Towns village litter-pick and had gathered by the playground to have a group photo taken. We usually ask the nearest person walking by to take our photo, which a local lady kindly did (she took 3rd photo attached, not entered). The local lady was dressed in a wonderful outfit, ready to manage a stall at the Halloween Market in Castlegregory Clubrooms across the road. Before she departed, I asked whether I could take her photo by our Natterjack Toad mural and she was only too happy to agree…….
Thank you
Martin Greenwood

They also asked the important questions – how do young people consume news and what can be done to encourage youth engagement? Produced and edited by Siobhán Brosnan.
