I want to argue there are no right or wrong narratives, only stories that benefit or limit us. these internal dialogues lead us towards a target. Your story provides a perception , this perception then aims and focuses on your "truth". However, you must recognize this is not THE TRUTH, only your truth.

We go through life with a hapless aim at targets and goals. These bring us no fulfillment or satisfaction. That's because we are shooting at someone else's interests, goals, narratives, targets. In order to negate this distorted target, we must first swallow the hard truth. Not everything we know or hold true serves our interest, talents, and goals.

We all go through phases of sluggish dependence. These states make us susceptible to adopt narratives that are already constructed and readily available . However, make sure it is only a phase and not a crutch. What is your narrative? It will determine your target.
