We tend to go through life not making decisions in fear of many things, mainly, making the wrong one but it's making the decision to deal with what we need to deal with or do what we need to do that will truly allow us to live our best lives.
The fight for 15 is a hot topic with people right now. People on both sides of the fence just argue for their stance and neither group listens. Coincidentally, neither group has it all the way right, either. The fight for 15 certainly has it's benefits however, it certainly has it's consequences as well. Some consequences run deeper than others and carry disasterous outcomes. The issues run deeper than I'm hearing anyone talk about.. So I'm going to. Let's take a ride down the rabbit hole of the fight for 15.
In this episode I break down the idea of the phrase "life is a prison". I go through some of the contributing factors that lead you to believe that your life is a prison and I go through ways we can teach ourselves more positive lessons and get ourselves to a better state of being on some of the more major levels that make us feel trapped in life. There's always something to be assessed and addressed that will help you in great ways. These are ideas, ways and methods I have learned, I have seen, I have experienced and have coached people through using. The reality of our situation is the most important thing for us to embrace but it is also often times the hardest thing to do. The hardest roads lead to the brightest futures so let's GO!
This time I break down some conversations I've had over the weekend with some different friends of mine regarding not moving forward because of "them". We are a society of worriers. Always concerned about what someone else thinks so that makes us freeze, not move for fear of being judged. You have to realize that the people judging aren't the ones that are doing things, they're rooting for you. The people that are doing the judging are the people that don't do squat with their own lives so really, they don't even matter. No matter who it is, don't let your life's mission be cancelled by what "they" think. Don't allow your life to become your prison.
No sugar coating, no frills, no BS.. In this episode, I explain that accepting reality is a tough pill to swallow for just about everyone, but it's quite literally the most necessary fight we all must take on if we truly want to better our life situation. Only by taking full personal accountability for ourselves and EVERYTHING about us and our lives, can we even hope to turn this ship in a better direction. We have to fix ourselves first to fix the world.
In this first episode I start off by explaining what we are trying to do with this show and the impact we are hoping to have with it. Those of us in the middle have been silent for far too long. It's time to not only stand up for ourselves but get as loud as we can in speaking up for ourselves as we now face the prospect of our right to free speech being removed. Then I talk about the notion that the feuding far outer sides of this nation have us normal people caught in the middle while they, from a radicalized perspective, attempt to teach the world that freedom and morality are mutually exclusive.. It's time to start having all the conversations we are told to avoid. That we are told are wrong, embarrassing, offensive... The reall tough conversations that make everyone uneasy.. Politics, business, race, gender, sexuality, society, nothing is off the table. It's time to find the answers ourselves directly from our fellow men and women that the mainstream narrative doesn't want us to have.
