Before the big game, Episode 3 finds Savannah learning about the power of forgiveness and establishing a camaraderie with her fellow teammates. Geared up and determined to win, Savannah leads the team as quarterback right alongside her male teammates.

One day after school, Savannah tries to tell her best friends Suni and Emily about Dr. Chester Pierce - the first African American to play college football in the south.
